Storm King Reviews

I had a really nice time at Storm King, and the shuttle made a big difference. We came in by train, so not having to figure out a car situation was... yeah, very appreciated. It was easy to spot from the station and was pretty much on time.

The tram inside was also a lifesaver. The place is big, and I was not trying to walk every single stretch of it. The driver was friendly too, just gave clear little directions and tips without turning it into a whole long speech or anything.
Overall it just made the visit feel relaxed and easy, which is kind of what you want on a day like that. I’d definitely use both again, especially if I went with family or if it was one of those really hot days where walking around for hours is just..

I’m not sure if I just missed a sign or parked in the wrong spot, but the lot felt far and a little confusing. I ended up walking way more than I expected, which was annoying.

I went with my kids and overall it was a nice day. There’s plenty of open space, so they had fun walking around and burning off energy. That said, a few areas felt like they might be a bit much for younger kids, so you kind of have to use common sense and keep an eye on what works for your group.

The food and bathrooms were fine, nothing special but not a dealbreaker either. I’d probably go again, but next time I’d plan ahead a little better, bring a few extras, and maybe pick the spots that are more kid-friendly

I thought it was really good value. We spent pretty much the whole day there and, well, I mean, it definitely felt worth the cost.

I stopped by last weekend, and it felt like the kind of place my family and I used to notice on road trips when a spot had seen better days. The bathrooms were dirty, the trash cans were overflowing, and a few of the paths looked like no one had checked on them in a while. For what they charge to get in, I really expected the basic upkeep to be a lot better.

I went sometime in January, or maybe it was late December, and the views were dull. With all the trees bare, the whole place just felt kind of plain and not as interesting as I expected

I tried StormKing before a week of heavy rain, and it actually helped me feel more prepared. Compared to a lot of weather sites/apps people use, this one gave me more practical prep info instead of just dumping a forecast on me. A few pages felt a little crowded with details, but overall it was useful and I’d probably use it again before a big storm.

Got some good perks, but expected a little more value overall. Not a bad membership, just didn’t feel as worthwhile as I hoped.

I went to Storm King last weekend and felt kind of relieved by how easy everything was once we got there. The person at the entrance took the time to explain things without rushing us, and a few staff members around the grounds were really nice about helping with directions. Sometimes I worry places like this will make you feel like a bother for asking questions, but it was the total opposite. Super relaxed experience, and I’d definitely go back.

I spent about 3 hours here and overall it was nice, relaxing visit. The place has good atmosphere, but it felt bit too spread out, so you definitely need to pace yourself and not rush around too much.

I took the bus from the city, it was way easier than I expected. The drop-off was close, and getting back was simple too. Made visiting Storm King feel a lot less stressful, especially not having to deal with driving.

The access part felt lacking to me. It wasn’t handled very smooth, and getting what I needed, easy it was not.

I really enjoyed walking around here because the grounds are so and spacious. There are plenty of hills, trees, and open areas, so the views changed as we kept going and it never felt boring. A few paths were a little confusing because the signs weren’t very clear, but we still had a nice day overall.

I had a really nice day at Storm King, and the cafe was better than I thought it would be. I just grabbed a quick coffee and a sandwich, and both were tasty, which somehow made the walking feel easier even though that probably makes no sense. It was convenient to stop in before heading back out, and the prices seemed decent for a place like this...

I mainly used Storm King for the map and the app, and both were easy to get the hang of. The map helped me plan things out better and quickly check different spots, which saved me some time. The app worked fine for the most part, though it did feel a little slow here and there, and to be fair, I’m probably the one getting annoyed too quickly when I’m trying to figure things out on the go. Overall, it was useful and I’d give it 4 stars.

I only went in once during our visit, but based on that, the bathrooms seem well kept. They were mostly clean, had soap, and didn’t have any weird smells. It did get a little crowded toward the end, but the wait was tiny, so overall I’d say they’re doing a good job.

I was excited to check out the sculpture collection, so I made the trip thinking it would feel like something special. The place itself is nice, and I did come across a few pieces that caught my eye, but overall it felt a bit hit-or-miss. Some of the sculptures seemed kind of random or just didn’t really pull me in. After walking around for a while, I realized I wasn’t as interested as I expected to be. For the price and the effort to get there, I left feeling a little disappointed

The views were really nice and I did get some good photos, so I’m glad I went. But some spots were so crowded that it kind of took away from the moment for me. I wanted to relax and enjoy it more, but I kept feeling like I had to hurry or squeeze around people...

I had a really nice time visiting, and the views were amazing. That said, at one point it did feel a bit like I was stuck there longer than I expected, which made me feel kind of trapped. Still, it’s a beautiful place and I’m glad I went.

Had a great day at the programs. The events were fun and everything felt really well organized, like they had put a lot of thought into it. Just a really nice experience overall, and I’d definitely...
